Announcing postponement of UK PonyCon to September 2021

In all that we do as the UK PonyCon committee, we aim to create a safe and welcoming environment in which to get to know fellow pony fans, meet up with old friends and learn from the fantastic community.

Based on the current state of coronavirus in the UK, we’ve made the difficult determination that this won’t be possible to do in person in May, and therefore we must postpone the convention once more. We’ll be returning to Nottingham Trent University in the heart of Nottingham city centre on new dates of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2021.

We understand this is a disappointment for many. Knowing how many great memories our conventions create, we’re sad that we’ll have to delay it, but when we do meet again, it will surely be worth the wait.

For those early-birds with hotel and travel reservations, many companies continue to offer flexible reservations. We recommend that you check your reservations and amend them to our new dates now.

In place of the in-person convention, we’ll be hosting an online event on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May 2021. Even if we can’t meet in person, we can continue to have a chance to meet, catch up and talk pony. We’ll provide more information about this in the coming weeks.

Finally we’d like to say thank you for your continued support. We’d also like to thank the organisations who help make our in-person events possible for allowing us to postpone, particularly Nottingham Trent University.

Kind regards,
