What is UK PonyCon?

UK PonyCon is a fan created and run convention celebrating all incarnations of My Little Pony since they were first released in 1982 right through to the Friendship is Magic series, the 2017 film and beyond. We host a range of events suitable for all generations of fans. Learn more about the event by browsing the pages of this website and reading our introduction.

We expect to welcome a special guest in-person at UK PonyCon 2024. You’ll hear from them in panels and meet them during meet-and-greet sessions (additional charge applies).

The stalls make UK PonyCon a dream for collectors and fans alike!

You'll also find a full events schedule featuring our special guests and members of the community, plus a Saturday evening music concert.

Who goes?

Whilst the convention is aimed at adult fans of the franchise from the early generation fans through to “Bronies” and “Pegasisters”, we welcome fans and collectors of all ages from all over the world.

Can I cosplay?

Yes! Cosplay is highly encouraged and we love seeing everyone’s wonderful costumes, but please read our cosplay rules.

When? Where?

UK PonyCon 2024 will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2024 at the Nottingham City Campus of NTU, in the heart of Nottingham (UK).

What’s the theme?

Our theme for 2024 is “We’re making History”.

You are invited to celebrate 20 years of UK PonyCon with us, the world’s longest running My Little Pony convention.

Take a look back through the History of UK PonyCon, the memories that have been made, and make some new ones with us!

Are there any entry requirements due to COVID-19?

People who have recently tested positive for Covid-19, or are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, must not attend UK PonyCon.

We will not require evidence of vaccination, recent negative test or exemption. This is consistent with current practice at the vast majority of events, venues, and other places where people meet in England.

Our entry policies may change in response to changes to the situation, government advice, event/hospitality industry practice and the policies of the venue.
