UK PonyCon 2021 rescheduled to 9th and 10th October 2021

We write to inform you that UK PonyCon 2021, originally scheduled for Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2021, has been rescheduled to new dates of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2021.

We have worked closely with Nottingham Trent University’s Events and Conferencing team for three years now and have grown to understand each other’s needs and priorities. Universities are great value venues for events like ours, with modern, high-specification and spacious facilities, however the compromise is that university business can sometimes take priority, necessitating rebooking for their non-university clients. To accommodate graduation ceremonies postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the university has had to reschedule our booking.

Thankfully, they were able to find new dates for us that coincide with our traditional dates, so we’re back on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2021. The new dates also allow extra time for normality to resume and vaccinations to take effect.

We understand this might be difficult for some who have already booked accommodation and travel. Many travel providers continue to offer flexibility, so if you have made any reservations, we encourage you to contact your travel providers now.

The law and best practices relating to events have evolved over the past few months and we expect them to continue to change. We’ll be working closely with the university to monitor developments to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all, and will publish details of the measures we’re taking nearer the time of the event.

We’ll publish ticket information in the coming weeks, followed by a ticket release. Follow us across our social media to be kept informed.

The whole of the UK PonyCon team have been saddened that we couldn’t see you last year, but we know the wait will be worth it and are looking forward to welcoming you back to Nottingham on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2021.

Kind regards,
