Food and Drink

We’ll have various options for food and drink available at UK PonyCon 2026.

We’re still working with the venue to confirm details, so can only share limited information for now.

Bar serving drinks and snacks

A bar located in The Venue@DMU will serve drinks and snacks.

Alcohol, including cider and cocktails, will only be available purchase on Friday and Saturday evenings, not during the daytime.

Stalls café

A small café will operate in the stalls area, serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments. Perfect for that coffee fix for the stallholders, and somewhere for attendees to pause while browsing the stalls.

Water bottle refill points

Water bottle refill points are located in both buildings.

Vending machines

There are vending machines selling drinks and snacks in both buildings.

Restrictions

Only food and drink purchased on the premises can be consumed at UK PonyCon 2026, with exceptions for medical reasons, such as sugary foods and drinks to manage diabetes.

Please do not bring your own alcohol. Anyone found consuming alcohol not purchased on the premises will be asked to leave.

Nearby options

The venue is located a short walk from Leicester city centre, with many restaurants, cafés, and shops to choose from.

The Tesco Leicester Superstore is roughly a 4 minute walk and open until from 6am to midnight Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Food and drink purchased off-site cannot be consumed on-site. We recommend having a picnic in Castle Gardens, a park just a few minutes from The Venue@DMU, across the Grand Union Canal.
