Afternoon tea tickets - available from Sunday 21st September 2025
We are delighted to announce that Afternoon Tea is returning for UK PonyCon 2025 – and tickets will be released tomorrow, Sunday 21st September 2025!
Afternoon Tea is one of the highlights of the weekend, offering a relaxed hour to enjoy delicious food, catch up with friends and fellow fans, and make special memories together. This year’s Afternoon Tea will take place on Saturday 4th October 2025 from 13:45 to 14:45 in the breakfast area and café of the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre.
What’s included
You will be treated to a buffet-style spread with a variety of sandwiches, cakes, and both plain and fruit scones with cream and jam so you can build your perfect scone. Unlimited tea, coffee, and water are included to keep the conversation flowing. Each attendee will also receive a UK PonyCon souvenir keyring, and we will share photos from the Afternoon Tea on our social media after the event.
Special guests
Our special guests will be joining us at the Afternoon Tea and will spend most of their time seated with the Gold Sponsors. Please note that there will not be dedicated time for autographs or photographs during this event. If you would like to meet the special guests, please attend the scheduled autograph and photograph sessions.
Dietary requirements
Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and most dietary requirements can be accommodated. Food is prepared in a busy kitchen and cannot be guaranteed to be free from trace allergens. Please share your dietary requirements when you purchase your ticket so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Prosecco add-on
For an extra treat, you can add a glass of prosecco to your Afternoon Tea for just £7. Please note that there is a limit of one glass per Afternoon Tea attendee, you must be 18 or over to purchase this option, and a Challenge 25 policy will be in place. If you are fortunate enough to look under 25, please bring proof of age to avoid disappointment.
Personal assistant tickets
If you are bringing a personal assistant (carer) with you to UK PonyCon and would like them to join you at the Afternoon Tea, you should purchase a full-price Afternoon Tea ticket for them so that they can eat and drink with you. If your personal assistant will not be eating or drinking, we offer a non-dining personal assistant ticket free of charge. This ensures a space is reserved for them so they can accompany you, while helping us manage the limited capacity. When purchasing your Afternoon Tea ticket, please make sure to request the correct type of personal assistant ticket so we can plan seating accordingly.
Tickets and pricing
Tickets for Afternoon Tea cost £30 per person or £37 with a glass of prosecco. Capacity is limited to just 70 people in total, and we expect tickets to sell very quickly based on previous years.
How to book
Tickets will be released in two waves. Approximately half of the available tickets will be released in the first wave for sponsor early access, and all remaining tickets released in the second wave.
Sponsor early access: Bronze and Silver sponsors will receive an email today with details for how to purchase a ticket for themselves from 16:00 tomorrow, Sunday 21st September 2025. Details will also be shared in the sponsor channels of the UK PonyCon Discord server.
General release: Tickets will go on sale to everyone else at 18:00 tomorrow, Sunday 21st September 2025, via the UK PonyCon shop at https://www.ukponycon.co.uk/shop
